The RPSC College Lectureship interview panel consists of 3-4 members, including a chairman and subject experts. The interview is designed to assess subject knowledge, teaching aptitude, and general awareness.

1. Role of the Chairman in the Interview

• The Chairman usually asks generic questions and is not a subject expert.

• Most questions are related to background, education, and general awareness rather than deep subject knowledge.

• There’s no heavy focus on General Knowledge (GK), but some basic awareness of Rajasthan polity, government, and current education policies can be helpful.

2. Subject-Specific Questioning Pattern

• The first panel member starts with easy questions and gradually increases the difficulty based on the candidate’s answers.

• You must prepare all MSc. subjects (16 papers) and know at least one standard reference book for each.

• Questions can come from any subject, even though they may ask for your favorite subject initially.
